Preserve stories across generations and cultures. Choose English plus Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Polish, or Turkish. Bilingual stories use your plan’s AI story allowance.
Document processing suggests titles, authors, dates, and languages from your files. You can review and correct the details.
Invite relatives with their own logins. The family owner manages one subscription. AI allowances are shared; paid allowances reset each calendar month (UTC), while Free story minutes are a one-time trial.
Prices are in USD. Storage and AI allowances are shared by the family. Monthly AI allowances reset without rollover. No automatic overage charges.

Do I need to be good with technology?
No. We made Heirloom to be welcoming and easy to use, whatever your experience with technology. AI works in the background to help with specific tasks, like preparing story text and organizing documents. You don’t need to know how any of it works. We take care of those details for you.
What can I keep here?
Family photographs, voice recordings, books, PDFs, Word documents, letters, and other supported documents. Original files stay available to download. Videos are not supported yet.
Can anyone see my memories?
No. Your archive belongs to you and requires a login. You can share it with family members of your choosing, but your files and recordings are not published for others to see. These memories are saved for you and your family.
Can I keep a copy on my own computer?
Yes, of course. If you ever decide to leave Heirloom, you can take your memories with you: your recordings, written stories, PDFs, documents, photographs, and their saved details. Download individual items or use “Download entire archive” in Settings to save a ZIP file on your computer. Keep it as your own personal copy. For large archives, use Chrome or Edge on your computer and leave the page open until the download finishes.
